Latino Outreach Internship Program

Updated 1/15/2016

The Official Presidential Campaign of U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is seeking applications for its 2016 Latino Outreach Program Internship.  Interns will support the work of the campaign’s Latino Outreach Team. This dynamic arm of the campaign is focused (like a laser beam) on invigorating the national Latino Electorate, galvanizing Latino voter support for the campaign, and ensuring that issues critical to the Latino community are an important part of the platform of our next president, Bernie Sanders.

Interns are an essential part of the campaign team and contribute greatly to the success of our efforts. Specific duties will vary, but will definitely include telephone outreach, operational coordination and logistics, administrative functions, and other duties as assigned.  Travel is not anticipated—but it’s not out of the question (this is a dynamic campaign!)

These internships come with a PAID stipend and will be based at the national campaign headquarters in Burlington, Vermont.  Interns are expected to work at least 40-hours per week (let’s call that the rare minimum).  Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

All applications are due by 5:00 PM ET on Friday, January 29, 2016. Depending on availability, internships will begin as early as Monday, February 1, 2016.

If you are driven by the need to change this country for the better, if turning the political system in Washington DC on its head and promoting the interests of working people motivates you, if you have unbridled passion for making Bernie Sanders our next president, if you just like a good, old-fashioned political revolution—then this internship may be for you!

How to Apply:

Interested applicants should email a completed Internship Application Form, cover letter, resume, and short answer responses to Mr. Bill Velazquez.
