Pennsylvania Stands Up is a grassroots organization with nine chapters and over a thousand dues-paying members across the Commonwealth. Our mission is to bring everyday Pennsylvanians—urban and rural, white, black, and brown—into the political process and to make a Pennsylvania that works for all of us.
We are a group of passionate, community-conscious people working to organize, advocate for, and expand opportunities for Latino and immigrant people in the state of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
One PA is a multiracial, intergenerational and multi-issue membership organization. Our members are workers, students, parents, seniors, people with disabilities, and retirees excited to learn, collaborate, and build power together. One PA works within a broad coalition of labor, faith, and students’ organizations fighting to make powerful changes that transform our communities. At the center of our work is civic engagement, our members speak at school board hearings, lobby state representatives, deepen voter engagement in their neighborhoods and beyond.
